Personal Bio
In my late 20s, I’m an urban desert dweller, born and raised. Besides a brief and embarrassingly unsuccessful academic stint in New York City back in 2002, I’ve lived in the Phoenix area all of my life. It is a place I absolutely loathe and love, with equal fervor. (I loathe constructively.)
After a few journalistic tenures at local colleges contributing to their campus periodicals, I’ve recently attained published works in several small publications both online and in print.
More gangly bookworm than culinary master, I’m merely a dedicated student, constantly learning. Ease in the kitchen seems to come natural, and an oft-unforgiving eagerness has always kept me curious about the goodness of food.
Currently I am a freelance writer, destitute of money, who harbors a gross love affair with all things food, dining and gastronomy.
